Without Referees It's Just Recess...

Sharpen your officiating skills and take your game up a notch while working the action at the best high school boys summertime basketball tournament in the Portland area. Teams set to participate at this years Shirts and Skins Tourney include South Medford, Jesuit, Hermiston, North Eugene, South Salem, Eisenhower (Yakima, WA), Beaverton, Grant, and 24 other top-notch Oregon and Washington varsity squads.

This tournament is set up like a regular tournament where teams advance and receive trophies for winning games. Campers will be rated and the best referees will have the opportunity to work the championship game. The result will be an evaluation process that simulates working a Oregon State High School Tournament.

The three-day Metro All-Star Officiating Camp will include on-court observation and classroom instruction by veteran Oregon state tournament officials. One of your games will be video taped and reviewed and you will receive a DVD with commentary. The camps’ goal is to broaden and deepen officials focusing on 2 man high school mechanics, so make sure you are one of those to benefit from this opportunity.
